Additives to food for Anemones

Does anyone add anything to their food before giving it to their anemone like selcon or something else?

What are the suggestions everyone has and also why?

I have been adding a drop or two of selcon to each piece of silverside I give my BTA. Why do I do it? I'm trying to get more out of each feeding so it grows faster, and bring its color back since it was slightly bleached.
