adhesive removal?

I just bought a brand new aquarium and it has adhesive in several locations that is not coming off easily. Any ideas of any household products that will work best for removing the adhesive from the inside, or suggestions on a adhesive remover.

Yeah, fingernail polish (acetone) will work well.

I have used the citric acid based Goo Gone several times. It seems to clean up just fine with a little water so residue isn't an issue.

You can use the water base of goo gone. I would wash it out very well afterwards just to be sure. Everything I bought is doing great. Thanks agin Jason
