anyone know how to do this??

I see there is a "add copyright watermark" in the export dialog box........but i cant for the life of me find out how to provide it one, or how to place it where I want in the pic if I did provide it one.

???

anyone??

Photos in your web photo gallery can display a watermark with copyright information derived from IPTC copyright metadata.

In the Output Settings panel, select Add Copyright Watermark.
To display copyright metadata in the caption, in the Image Info panel, choose Edit from the menu next to Caption, and then insert the copyright information.

I think the watermark will be displayed right bottom side

well in looking more into it.........this is a flaw with lightroom that many people complaing about and ti still hasnt been addressed.

It appears there is zero control over size and placement of a watermark by using just the lightroom program. it seems most people re using third party software and or photoshop to do their watermarks even if they do do all of their PP in Lightroom.

SO...on that note. Any suggestions for easy simple programs to do this alone to pics?? that HAVE control of size and placement control??

I saved a couple of links yesterday when i was reading up... havent looked into it any more...if anyone has anything they like a lot that does this let me know :)

If an image requires that I finish the editing in PS, I add the watermark there. Otherwise I just let LR do it. While it's true that you don't have any control over where it appears I've never had an issue with it.

This is what it looks like on a standard sized web export:

Yep, that is what I mentioned in my previous posting how it will look when you use the option in LR.
Many photo edit programs offer this feature in some way. Are you using any photo software besides LR?
Let us know and I will have a look at it how to do it with that software.

I found a few free programs that would do it. Don't know if they meet your requirements:

I am sure there are more out there
