I decided not to flip the rock. i used that slab to make a cave/overhang. Plus, I like the peak the way it is now.

Looking good man I wanted to do my rocks like that but my tank was to small to make it look right what kinda sand you gonna put in there

thanks robert. I put in regular aragonite sand.

I can mentally see about 10 diff ways to lay that rock out in my head.

Yeah, it is an awesome rock. There are so many options for it. I really wanted to that peak. The back of the rock is not as good looking, thus the no flippage.

If you decide to spread it out some you can go for this type of look.

I thought about going for something like that. My very first attempt, before I started tanking pictures was low/med height and spread across, but it just wasn't working for me. And I didn't have enough branch to utilize it structurally.

Heh. That rock came from Wayne a long time ago. He got a truck load (literally) of rock!

You know by having two separate stacks, you can do the egg crate in between if you want to add in fish at different intervals like that guy was talking about at the swap. It was an interesting idea, BUT I do have to say some fish will never get along no matter how you keep them apart. My Dory I got killed my anthias after they all been in there over a couple of weeks. My sixline wrasse I got from James killed my Target Mandarin after it's been in there for two months. So I don't completely agree with him. I got a Yellow Tang from Kathy that keeps my Regal in check, but Dory is shy to come out now.... Only comes out to eat, that's about it....

1 fiji foxface
1 McCoskers Flasher Wrasse
1 Engineer goby
1 Mandarin goby

Maybe 3 chalk bass, haven't decided yet.

I wont be adding the all at the same time though. I think that would be too much on the bio load capability of the tank.

You said in a previous post saying that your rocks are pretty sturdy, make sure they are if you are getting a engineer goby. They are known to rearrange your stuffs around and they do burrow.

My rock i sturdy, and that is why I put the rock in before the sand. So it couldn't get underneath the rocks.

Lookin good but if you prop the rock on the left sitting on the sand up then lay the rock on top of it longways. It will give you a xtra cave & height on the left side. The awuascape looks good as is.
