Adult orange shoulder tang colors back to juvi

Hey everyone

I got an adult orange shoulder tang about 6 months ago. Typical beautiful colors then suddenly last week I walk in to admire the tank and he's as yellow as my yellow tang. Any thoughts I've never seen this before. He's 6 to inches.

Wow, that's freaky! I think I've heard of fish reverting to juvenile colors when housed with a more dominant fish. I just googled it. There are several threads on the other site about it. The first one I read referred to a more dominant fish. Also mimicking another fish in the tank was mentioned.

Do you have a fish more dominant than the orange shoulder?
