Advanced fish advice?

Hey guys,

Need some advice. My big fish "Hippo
Tank, and pink tailed Trigger" are acting really strange. They are twice as big as my other guys, but thay are not happy. They hide behind the rock and will not come out. They are acting paranoid, and very skidish. I am not sure what is going on?

What could be causing there stress?

I just did a water change, and my skimmer is not working either. However everything else in my tank seems to be doing well?

Thanks

Dan

Start by putting your lights and feeding on a consistent schedule,
if your water quality is not good that will cause them to be stressed out. Check these ,,salinity, ammonia, nitrite

Lights are on a timer, and feeding as well. The other fish are all much smaller and would not be a threat. When I have the water tested they say it is good?

Size does not dictate level of aggression. I've seen 1/4" damsels pick on and kill fish 3+ times their size.

I do not see any agression towards them.

I have:

Bicolor Angelfish
Chalk Basslet
Pajama Cardinal
2 Percula Clownfish
Purpleback Pseudochromis
1 Firefish Goby
1 Fox fish
1 lawn mower Blenney
