Advantages of 24 gallon to 12 gallon? (other than just size)

I currently have the 12 gallon Aqua Pod by Current. I am looking at upgrading to the 24 gallon Nano Cube.

Are the 24 gallon easier to maintain? What are the advantages/disadvantages of the Nano Cube to Aqua Pod? How many more fish can I keep in the 24 gallon?

Thanks for the help.

Well with the 24 you have more room to aquascape and it's easier to keep things in check.

Not going to get into the number of fish debate other than to say I got 6 and wish I had 4 max, hopefully I can get another setup this spring and even things out.

If you can afford it from the start look into upgrading the lighting. I went with 108W PC hood from www.nanotuners.com and I love it, colors are much better than the stock hood.
Good luck.

OMG!!! You have 6 fish in a 24gal!!!!! Your crazy, you water is gonna turn to crap, your fish are gonna die and your computer will crash!!!!!!!!!!! Kidding, Im just not a fan of X number of fish in a X gal tank. There are just too many variables. I dare anyone to prove a Trimma Goby poops as much as an adult Maroon Clown.

PS I have 4 in my 12gal. Dont tell anyone.

4 fish in a 12, your crazy!!!! They are all going to die!!!! :)

Seriously though as long as your fish have their little area's you can get away with more. My Watchman Goby stays in his burrow, My neon goby is always perched on a piece of rock, my pseudochromis is in the rock 24/7 just darting around, the assesor and firefish stay in the water colum and the flame angel kinda goes where ever he wants :)
Just be mindful of their habits when selecting them and your o.k., I wouldn't get 6 sand burrowers or 6 water colum fish in the same tank.

 u guys are like super crazy lol, the diff. I would say is the money you have to put into them. The bigger the more work when water changes and the more money you have to pump out for dry goods, livestock, lighting, bills, etc. They do allow for more things to be kept in it however.
