Advice and help needed

I just received some fish but in one of my wrasses I noticed that around its gills it looks like its bleeding. Is this something to worry about? If so what can I do to help? Thanks

For starters get yourself, if you don't already have it, a quarantine tank. Maybe it's flukes - who knows but it should probably not be in your 95 gallon display tank for sure.

Go to a LFS & inquire about prazipro if it is flukes & not something else ... a pic of the wrasse would help

2+ on a pic of the fish. This will help people offer advice.

Often times stress from shipping will result in a injured/diseased animal. Did you purchase the fish from a reliable source?

More information is needed for people to offer you viable advice.

Are you testing your parameters? How often do you do water changes? Did you quarantine this fish? What are you feeding? any vitamins or garlic? Is the fish eating? Did you drip acclimate the fish?

I would recommend that you avoid stressing the fish as much as possible. Try to get it eating a few times a day (enrich your food with selco/vitachem etc. to help the fish recover) .These may help: -Reduce your flow -Raise your fixture -Perhaps run only half of your bulbs.

Good luck.

Well after a close and careful examination the bleeding is around the pectoral fins. So its probably due to the shipping. It is in a qt. The fish was purchased from blue zoo, and sorry I can't take a pic my camera doesn't work. Thanks for the responses.
