Advice for lighting on biocube

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this type of light work.

Wave point micro sun 6,500k daylight high output 16 wat. Led light.

I was thinking about putting one on each side. It's cheaper than buying a retrofit. But I want to know if this setup would work.

I am very new to this hobby and the lights on my biocube don't work. I have a biocube 29g.

Any advice would help. Thx

Depends what you want to do with it.
For freshwater plants you'd be good and for fish of any kind you'd be good but not for corals, anemones or clams of any kind.

Bingo.

It's no upgrade over any lighting the Biocube comes with. You can't do any real corals with that. Probably mushrooms and that's about it. If you want something easy and plug-n-play, go for a 20" 150W Current USA Sunpod, the Coralife Aqualight 150W HQI, or the Current USA Nova Extreme 20" 6x18watt T5 setup. If all that's too much money, think about buying used or hanging a 150W halide pendant from the ceiling.
