Advice for Stocking List - 75G Reef

Hi everyone, I'm trying to come up with a stock list for my 75 gallon reef tank (plan is LPS corals) and I'm looking for input/advice as this is the first saltwater tank I've ever setup. I've basically just been looking through LA at different types of fish and here's what I've come up with that I thought looked interesting.

Carpenters Flasher Wrasse (What does everyone recommend for # of females with a male?)
Sleeper banded Goby (saw one at a LFS thought it was very cool)
Either a Yellow Candy or Axilspot Hogfish
Black Cap Basslet

One of the questions I had is about wrasse compatibility, for example could I keep an exquisite fairy wrasse with these flasher wrasses? Is that dependent on if they have a similar coloration or not?

Trying to sort through all these different fish is a little overwhelming, so input and suggestions on this list and what could be added to it are appreciated, like are there any types of fish you think are a must in a tank that I should look into adding.

Thanks.

skip hogfish! they are pretty aggressive.
don’t get any pairs of wrasses. females change to male pretty fast. there is a chart and more info how to mix wrasses online. good luck

Dave I had similar questions about wrasses when I started to look into them and found this well worth the read but it is quite long

Its full of good useful info about mixing them, pairs or harems or not, which get along better with others etc. I wouldnt say any one source or person is something to base everything off of as some have success mixing some of the “dont play well with others” ones but it definitely will provide you with alot of information and something to help guide you in your research. Best of luck and enjoy the hobby!

Suggestion wise, one of my favorites is a Royal Gamma the bright colors really stand out from across the room and it's fun to watch it pop out from its burrows.

U

Royal Gramma, excellent choice!
Red or purple fire fish look nice and fit well with above.
If ya got sand, a blue spotted yellow goby, maybe a nice addition.

No tangs...
