Advice on Mrs.Wage?

As a Christmas present, I got a jar of Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime from my sister-in-law. I have been doing reading on how to use it, but any "words of wisdom" from people using it?

I use it im my kalk reactor. Are you looking to add it to your makeup water?

Hope you don't mind if I tag along, I plan on starting to use it too, in my make up water. What's a good ratio to mix it?

been using it for years in my fresh water top off system ...one teaspoon per gallon should give a PH over 11.......I don't use a kalk reactor so it helps to off set the lowering PH effect from the calcium reactor.....

a covered garbage pail with a hole in the lid for the return hose and pump wire.

im no expert, but I stayed at a holdiay inn...

actually I read the chem forum a lot.

Randy says its not important how much you put in, any extra will settle once it reaches saturation. Use a powerhead on a timer 5 min/day and it seems pretty easy.

I've been using a kalkreactor, but I think I'm gonna switch> Its probably me, but the kalk usage seems to vary quite a bit without me touching anything.
