advice on taking top down pics

im trying to get some top down pics without getting the glare. so far this is the best ive gotten

You need a watertight box or tube with a clear bottom so that the water is displaced by air...no ripples. ;-)

i actually turned off all the pumps for that so the surface is totally smooth. its the reflection from the lights that im having problem with

Still, if you use the box idea, you get 0 reflection.

Also, you can set the camera in the box and hit the timer button so you get as little movement as possible.
