I'm not sure if this is normal
Or indicative of a problem. One of my Picasso percs just won't relax.., last night after water change it seemed worse. Basically during daylight it will pace like mad back and forth along the front of the glass..I
Mean literally swimming on the glass back and forth really quickly. It seems almost like its chasing it's shadow or reflection. It's the only fish that does this though, the other clown doesn't do it. I'm preparing to be gone for a few days next week and I stopped feeding frozen altogether, so the last 2 days I've only been feeding a mix of flake, pellets, and reef chili a few times a day. It eats a decent amount, but last night it seemed pretty frantic. I suppose video would have helped, but it was 1am and I didn't have the energy. This isn't the only time I've seen this behavior, it does it almost all the time, last night it was just more intense. I did add two fish on Friday, a small tomini and a blue streak wrasse, they were both qt'd for 4 weeks, and all fish seem healthy, no external signs of sickness. I was thinking that perhaps a nem would give both clowns a home, but I don't think they would go in it. They were tank raised at pro aquatix, and there is a huge elegance that they never pay any attention to. I also am waiting to find a healthy gig or mag, realizing that this is most unlikely, I've been toying with the idea of a bta, but again being tank raised and not their natural host I am skeptical they would go in it. I just trying to determine if something is wrong, if it's normal, or if it's just one of Jose quirky fish things...
Any advice?
