we sell them at the lfs i work at. and they usualy live that long without a food source ( flatworm 'free' tanks) we do try to add flatworms any time we find them in a tank or on a coral but.... yeah
i forget what the timeframe is for the flatworms to hatch
but if you do have some i think the nudi would kill them or atleast keep a balance faster then they could eat a coral...
I had an order in for 3 flatworm eating nudi's. Only two companies I know of sell them but they are seasonal. I had a red flat worm problem and didn't realize I had so many until I treated my tank with flatworm exit. Weekly I would syphon the fw from around the base of my rocks until I thought to myself that these critters are starting to multiply. When I treated my tank this weekend you would have thought someone poured pepper in my tank and it settled on the sand. After vacuming the fw my sand is white and I have not a one left nor did I lose any livestock. Do have a mechanical filter to run your carbon. You may see a few fw but believe me you do have alot more unseen.
The two companies that sell them is seacorp.com and reefermadness. The only thing is seacorp only do business by email and I don't like that.
