Aefw - How long to go fallow?

I got the dreaded AEFW and am wanting to treat in separate tank and leave my display fallow of acros...how long should I let my display go fallow of acros to ensure eggs and any remaining flatworms are killed off?

I'm dealing with them now and I read 8 weeks minimum

i didnt go fallow, i just dipped daily, now none blow off corals and no more eggs are being laid.
