A few questions if you would be so kind:

Do the polyps pulse like Xenia?

Does it spread and take over?

Will it retain the blue color?

Is it photosynthetic?

Drs. Foster & Smith's limited edition captive grown African soft coral is a very beautiful addition to an aquarium. The polyps of the African Cespitularia may pulse like Xenia and once established grows quite rapidly. The typical color of this coral is bright blue-white and to maintain this color the coral does require bright light and also strong water flow.
