Im looking to grow into a 180g from my 125g. Ive talked to two seperate stores and two different people have told me aga/perfecto 180g aquariums have a tendancy to develope leaks. I will be putting this tank on my first floor over a basement, which i was indending to put floor jacks in the basement to support the extra weight. I have an older house with the 4"x9" floor joist, and I dug out the basement floor underneath and poured a one foot deep concrete pad under where the tank will be. All this imo should give the tank stability. Id like to know if anybody has experienced or heard of 180's developing leaks. Also ( i havent done research yet) id like to know if acrylic tanks are a whole lot more expensive and what are the pros and con's of them? Thanks ahead of time.
