AGA stand with wavebox (120g tank)

I am thinking of upgrading my 75g tank to a 120g AGA tank and stand.

Is the AGA stand well made? Should I brace it to deal with the extra stress from thw wavebox?

A local guy makes heavy duty stands, but I would rather not pay the extra money if I don't need it.

Wood on its end grain is incredibly strong, if you get one of their higher end stands you should be just fine.

How do you know if it is a higher end stand? The stand is $200.

Anything but MDF, oak is preferred. Make sure it is level and you should be fine.
