Ok, So I have doubts. I would like to understand that's all.
How can anyone(ie scientists I'm guessing) be so cozy with the idea that
A. It takes thousands of years to build a reef when we see our tanks grow so fast when the water is right?
B. Am I really supposed to just believe that they can what? carbon date an anemonea? How does anyone know how long anemonea live in the wild? It sounds like the anemonea are pretty hard pressed just keeping themselves safe.
Sorry to be so full of questions (that you don't like) but I'd really like to know where these ideas came from.
I have to seriously think that coral reefs shift in our oceans on cycles. Quite regularly I'll bet. We only just started watching closely recently.
Anyone?
