age of first spawn

I asked the same question about a week ago. Only one person responded, but they said 12 to 18 months. Hopefully mine will spawn one day. Good luck

Age aside (becuase the ability to mate doesn't mean it will happen)

It took my Tomato Clowns about 3.5 years. I believe that if you dedicate yourself to making their environment as "Breeding Friendly" as possible you will be able to get down to the 12-18 month range, but do not count on it.

I have no real definition for "Breeding Friendly" as I am still working through figuring it out it myself.

Good Luck --landlord

Thanks for the info, unfortunately, I have about a year to go on this young pair. My previous pair ( "pair" means that would not kill each and one was big and the other small) were fed a diet high in shrimp, scallop, fresh frozen, and did not spawn after 4 years, so I gave up on em. Anyone good at getting a "pair" picked and getting them to spawn?

I have a 3 year old pair of Percula Clown Fish in a 6 year old tank. The pair laid eggs 3-4 times now, but I never seen any of the hatching.

Anyone out there successfully hatch eggs to little crowns. thx

Dat
