AgentSPS' 300 Gallon ***DreamReef***

NICE! Love the rockwork...

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Did you have a fishlist yet?

Any other updates on the BIG tank?

Hi Chad-

Thanks! Haven't really given much thought to fish yet. Currently have a damsel and a small blue tang. Figure I might just leave the blue tang to take care of algae and ditch the damsel eventually. I am taking down a 6 gal cube that has a yellow goby and cap clown in it now. Will probably move the goby over and sell the cap clown along with another cap I have. Caps need their space because they are super territorial. Cap shredded the blue's tail pretty bad. Little punk!

I will post some big tank shots soon. Things are really coming along nicely.

Love the look of your completed rock work and set up. Very nice and clean looking.

Also very interested in your LED lighting and what you think of it overall and long term...

Hi everyone! Sorry its been a long while since I posted any updates. The last few months have had some ups and downs. Been battling what I think is excess nutrients which I believe is to blame for some bouts of STN. Weekly 30 gallon water changes seem to be helping. Contemplating the idea of removing 50% of my sandbed as well.

Also sad to report that my Dussumier that had been with me for over 5 years died. A friend pointed out that it was looking skinnier a few months back and from that point on it just withered away. Had a similar thing happen to an extremely rare aberrant yellow/black tang I acquired though that happened much quicker (3 weeks) than it took for the Dussumier. Never even had a chance to post pics of it.

Other than that the tank has been coming along nicely. Growth seems to have really taken off the past 3-4 months which is always nice to see.

Here are some recent shots I took:
