Aggresive Clown

I think that my clown is very aggresive, I've had him for three months in a 75 gallon tank with two Damsels that I've had for a year and a half. Well, today he picked on one of the Damsels until it was dead, now he is picking on the other one. What are the odds that I could put some other fish like maybe a tang in there and it survive? I want to get rid of the Damsels anyway but not like this.

Your clown is most likely a female, and sounds territorial. Female clowns can be very mean, I know, I have one who bites me.

Best bet would be to remove her or put her in a clear container when you make new introductions. You could also re-aquascape before any new additions.

+1 to removing the clown when introducing another fish and changing the scape.

If this is a tomato or maroon clown you may always have problems.

Ya believe it or not clowns are an aggressive species. Technically they are a member of the damsel family as well and all damsels have pretty aggressive tendencies.
