Aggressive Fire Shrimp?

Is it possible for a Fire Shrimp to take out an Arrow crab?

They where sharing the same cave and today the arrow crab either died while molting or got his butt kicked?

Thy can be aggressive and teritorial if something goes by where it is calling home. I have seen mine chase my cleaner shrimp away violantly.

What was the relative size? I would suspect that the crab died molting, if they were sharing the same cave without hostility. Mine were territorial towards other shrimp, though, as stated.

the arrow was always up against the rock and the fire shrimp was in the middle. I found him dead at the end of one of my ends.

They like to chase the cleaners too.

The new fire is like 2" if not bigger

My arrow and flame angel use to live in the cave. Angel has hence moved

Wow I have never had any problems with my 2 Fire shrimp. I house them with 2 Skunks and 5 Peps, and a Tiger Pistol. I never see them go after each other. Whenever I feed them they all come running out(except for the pistol he never comes out) and try and get some krill. Ohh also they are not small shrimp. The 2 skunks and fires are a little bit bigger then a AA battery. Im sorry about your loss.

Fire's hate light deep water shrimp. You both (mark and aqua) have bigger tanks then me maybe they're territories are distant enough to keep them happy.

I have seen mine be pretty aggressive at times. He is usually pretty reclusive, but will definitely give the pepp a work out if he gets to close.
