Aggressive FOWLR 60gal list

I think I may be attracting some "you're overstocking" comments but the local fish shop owner (I'm well known to him) suggested this list, I was going to have just some chromis and anthias and a wrasse but he suggested having something totally different to my reef tank, which made sense.

Tank: 3ft long by 2ft high by 1 1/2 ft deep, 60gal/220L

Live Rock: 40lbs

Equipment: large cannister filter with bio balls and ceramics

Water change schedule: 25% with sea water every 3-4 weeks

Wish List:

1 - Angel (not dwarf)
1 - Lionfish
1 - Harlequin Tusk
1 - Snowflake eel

He said that should ammonia levels creep up above zero, to keep the fish lean (don't overfeed) and if all else fails to do fortnightly water changes.

Sound plausable???

Any thoughts???

thanks.

I know that this might sound like I'm way overstocking, but i had a 55 and i had

4 inch Niger Trigger
7 Inch Minatus Grouper
5 inch Panther Grouper
4 inch Humu trigger
5 inch Sailfin Tang
4 inch Yellow Tang
hawkfish
harlequin bass

I ran

1500 cascade filter
Emeror 400 filter
Seaclone 150 Protein Skimmer
Turbo Twist Uv steriizer
Hydro Koralina #3

Water Changes twice a month and never had any roblems with any levels in my tank

WOW!

so that sounds like about twice the bio-load of what I'm suggesting I guess?
But you have ALOT more filtration including a skimmer plus water changes every 2 weeks.
So I guess there's confirmation that I can keep those 4 fish in my size tank, I'm just worried that the cannister filter won't be up to it?
He also suggested replacing the bio balls and ceramics in the filter with "MATRIX MEDIA" for enhanced bio-filtration.

I hate to be the voice of dissent but I wouldn't do it. Levels can be fine and yet I've noticed that fish become bored, destructive, aggressive, and sickly when they don't have enough space. It is stressful for a hobbyist to see this as well if you have no means to upgrade. Also, it's easy to think you can keep up with the water changes but the truth is that gets very old after a while and lives get busy, this is not a good plan to commit to. Not only that, the cost of constantly changing water adds up.

Any non-dwarf angel gets to be at least 11-12" or more and needs pristine water conditions. I tried this once when I was a newbie and it didn't work out well. The lion will not be able to turn around after about 8 months because a 55 gallon is only 13" wide. I have not owned a harlequin but they get fairly large and are very active, it would probably be ok in there for a few months if you get a small one but will eventually need more than a 4 ft long tank with 13" to turn around. The snowflake is a good choice.

I'm sure your LFS is a great place but they do have something to gain by selling you this stuff so I would seek honest opinions elsewhere.
