I have had my naked clownfish for a year or two, and she has become more and more aggressive. Is this normal?
In that time period, she suddenly decided she didn't like her mate and ruthlessly hunted him until I was able to remove him. After he was gone, she started biting on my platygyra and terrorizing the blenny, hawkfish, and royal gramma. Peace returned to my 65g once she was removed... and I actually see my other fish now.
She is now in a time out tank with my daughter's very large left handed hermit crab and shrimp. I caught her picking on the hermit crab.. And on multiple occasions I have seen the shrimp go after the clown for this behavior.
Does she just need to find a new home? Is there any reforming her?
