AI Hydra 52 burning plastic?

Well I was just testing at which height to put the light with my hands over the tank, I let it on the trim for less than 30 seconds to change the intensity/color with my phone and it cut thru plastic like a laser!

Is it normal?

I tryed with only the reds and it will create a dimple in less than 10 seconds

can you make the picture bigger its hard to see
LEDs do produce quite a bit of heat from them...
Never owned a Hydra so not sure if its normal.. but very possible.

There was none on the lense, the lenses wasn't touching.. it's the light beam

This is about right, the optics will create a hot spot if too close, after 2-3" it's just about warm. Never lay them down on any surface while on as they will burn the surface and the bounce back will cause the optics to slowly melt
