My tank is 5 x 2

So in that case, if I were to get the AI, how many do I need?
And which way do I put it, like horizontally or vertically

In terms of the echotec ones

They say it covers 24x24 inch

But the light is only like 12 x 7 or so inch
So do you put it like horizontally or vertically?

All depends on aquascaping if you mount them horizontally. I have yours vertical and I would put 4 on your tank just to ensure proper coverage. People tend to like the ecotechs based on looks and its options over the AI sol blue. I have one AI Sol blue over my 20x20x20 and I love it. It works and provides good light and grows lps coral and softies no problem. I have not gotten into sps just yet tho. Let me know how your LED venture goes for u

so r u saying echo tech is better than AI?

how about Vertex

hmm my tank is 5 feet, if I get 3 would it be enf?

put one between 1 and 2 feet, one on the 3rd feet middle, and 3rd one between the 4 and 5 th feet

also is it true the AI and Ecotech only have blue to white colours

where vertex can do any colours like green, yellow red etc and thunder/storm lightning lol
