AI LEDs ?

I have 2 AI led sol lights and one controller. Wondering if anyone has ever used them? Also I don't have the power supply's for them but they are new in box never used. I see the lights are $399 each. I have only found the power supply's on the AI website for $60each. Anyone know anywhere else I can find them. Is it worth spending the $120 on 2 power supply's or should I just think about selling them.

I have five AI Sol over my tank. I really love the lights. It's easily worth the money for the power supplies in my opinion. AI has come out with 3 new upgrades to lights since I purchased mine and I really can't justify buying them because mine are doing so well. I ran the 210 gallon tank with just 3 of them for about 3 years and just purchased the other two recently.

I have two over my tank currently. They have been running for two years. Love the lights. They are powerful and have grown all types of coral, SPS, LPS and Softies in my tank.

It's good that you are getting new power supplies/cords. If you ever want to updated the AI SOLs to the Hydra you will need the latest ones.

Wow they did 2day shipping for free the led's look good it's just the canopy is so low that I don't get full coverage so I'm supplimenting with the Chinese 120w LEDs at 40% power. Just to get full coverage.

Nice. Glad you're keeping them they are great lights. Check out the AI parts store for discounted "refurbished" units (talked to the reps, they have minor cosmetic blemishes on the heatsink or plastic housing) or pickup 2 from another local reefer. They come up pretty frequently, just got to get a good price on them.

I have three ai sols. Love them, but feel like I'm missing out on that "pop" affect. Thinking of adding uv

Try a 2-bulb T5 fixture with Coral+ and Purple+, dgelz

Da Kind Reef, how high do you have them above your tank? What size tank do you have?

120g 4'x2'. Not high enough my canopy is low 6-8" maybe
