AI lights and VDM

When controlling AI lights with the VDM module, do you still need the AI base controller?

No you don't but you do need the VDM adapter cable

Thanks... I knew I needed the adapter cable, but wasn't sure whether it plugged directly into the AI modules, or into the AI base controller.
