Ai lights red green yellow spectrum

I have to ai sol blues over my 72 gallon bow front and I am wondering what other ai owners are using to get the spectrums ai is lacking my reds pink and purple don't look the same some thoughts would he appreciated thanks

I came from an ATI Sunpower using a mix of bulbs including daylights and purple plus. With my AI sold my orange cap, bleeding scoly, an setosa look so much more amazing.

How are your settings I was thinking about going back to mh/t5 setup is there anyone else that has gone back to there former light ?

my tank looks better with leds than halides

but i am running 2 t5 with my AIs

Which t5s are you using and do you have one in front and one in back my lights are mounted parallel

i figured i already own them so why not use them

2 super actinic bulbs

Dont take this the wrong way buuutt did you feel this way before the Radion hit the market? The reason I bring this up is because the typical new kid on the block threads have started popping up now that some are taking delivery of the Radion...I guess, how long have you felt this way? The varying opinions are very odd to me

I believe there was an article when the grow light red t-5's were the rage. From what i remember it was that red served no benefit to corals, and in some cases hindered them. The red spectrum naturally gets filtered out of the ocean before it hits corals. So yeah it was mainly for peoples perception. Thats if my memory serves me correctly. I don't remember the article i read either. LOL So TIFWIW.

Not that you were talking to me but,
I didn't feel that way immediately but my pink birdsnest looked better under the purple+ bulb. Once all my red acans turned Orange I started looking for a way to turn them back to red again. Doesn't seem to happen with every led setup but there is a thread about it in the lps forum. I may add 2 t5's if no one figures out what supplemental leds will fix it.
