AI SOL Blue controller text color

The text on the current controller is barely readable. I installed the new firmware version with out issue. If I hold the controller at an angle I can make out the text. In the youtube videos it shows the text in the color white. Mine is black and I tried playing with the back lighting.

What color is the actual color of the text??

I am having the same issue. I sent an email to AI, and waiting for a response. Did you resolve this issue, and has anyone else had this problem?

Is your controller connected to your computer or your sol lights? My text is black and dim when on the computer, but white and vibrant when connected to the sol fixtures. HTH

The controller is connected to my first SOL module. I took the 12' cable off and used one of the 18" daisy chain cables and the text was a nice white color and easy to read. So the 12' cable was defective. AI support says they are standard 3.5mm cables that are sold at most electronic shops, so I'll get a longer one locally.

Had the same problem. AI sent me a new long cable. Great service!
