ailing Galaxea?

I bought this frag from a local aquarist about 2 weeks ago. To date it had seemed healthy and happy. it's tentacles were out 24x7 and at night it had long feeder tentacles. This morning I got up and found this.

Sg 1.025
N2 0
N3 7
Calc 470
Alk 10.3
Temp 80

Is this normal behavior for a Galaxea or as it going to die?

it's tough to tell what happened since you purchased the frag.

The picture makes me wonder about the quality of the original frag.

about that original frag: it could survive. Galaxea is very durable.

I can see live tissue in it. It just appears to be "not happy," like when you bring one home from the LFS and it's all bundled up and such. Yesterday I changed the direction of one of my powerheads, so I put it back the way it was. We'll see.

Where I have mine it has a good current. Maybe even just a slight bit strong and it likes it. Extends it tentacles and all.

I actually ran my tanks at 80 and mostly everything thrived but a few corals didnt like it I found out so I brought it down between 78-79 and all is well. I actually turned off my heaters but I'm in Texas.
