aiptasia and bubble algae!!!

I lookoed in my tank tonight and noticed my first aptaisia, so I said "honey, look this is an another type of anemone!" She says, what is this black thing under the rock beside it, sure enough it is a big bubble of bubble algae! So I just found my first Aptaisia and bubble algae. Lucky me!

LOL! I am moving soon anyways, so I will clear it out when I break down the tank.

1) better get that rock out with the bubble algae ASAP before it pops - once it pops you wil foreven have bubble algae on all your rocks - that's how mine started - one bubble and I waited too long and it popped - I will forever have Emerald Crabs now.

2) ditto for the 1 Aptaisia - it will move around and leave single cells here and there that will turn into more. It might also release come cells into the water column too and spread into your sump or fug - Kalk it ASAP.

Both issues are ones that can't wait cause once it's too late that is it.
