Aiptasia eating filefish safe with Duncan?

I'm thinking of getting a few of these to deal with an Aiptasia outbreak. However will they also nip at my Duncan?

Advice please!

mine never nipped at anything else in my tank while i had him. he was in a frag tank as well, so lots of coral for him to munch on if he was interested. but i never saw him do it and never noticed any damged to any corals.

now that is just my experience with them and others might have had issues. there is no magic answer to this question. every fish will act different.

as mentioned Files are hit or miss...I'm lucky mine doesnt bother any coral or aiptasia...LOL but I think it's because I feed my tank so much with all the other fish I have.

I had one, it wasn't 30 minutes in my display tank and it was nipping at my zoas.

The last one I owned is not in a FOWLR of a friend of mine. This fish cleaned out the aiptasia, and then ate zoas and closed all of my duncans. So they can nip at stuff or they may not. Coin toss
