aiptasia eating nudibranch

i am battling this problem with kalk very reluctantly and unsuccessfully. i read a bit about a nudibranch that eats aiptasia. is this a feasible alternative to a copperband butterfly?

Can't base anything on experience but from what I've read on here and other places the answer would be yes. The nudi is going to starve once the pests are gone. I've also read things about them missing a small portion or not being able to reach a small portion, starving to death, and the aiptasia return. And about them not eating the larger ones. Again it's all just from reading.

I had a 10 gallon tank full of aiptasia once. Actually on purpose! I wanted to change it up into a majano tank and got rid of the aiptasia with 4 peppermint shrimp. Never had a single one return in the year or so the tank was up.

I'll let you know in about a month. That's how long I was told it would take to see a difference with the 2 Berghia Nudibranchs I just got. They will spawn and their numbers will flourish until they run out of food, in which they will then die. My LFS told me they will have no problem eating the smaller aiptasia, but might have difficulty with the larger ones...and I got some juicy fat ones. So I was told to continue using Kalk paste on the big ones and let the nudis handle the smaller ones. But to be honest, ever since I've put them in, I have yet to see them again...and that's in a 10 gallon sump/fuge
