Aiptasia inside maxima!

I just looked at my gold teardrop max and there is a notch in it's mantle were a durned glass anemone is protruding out from INSIDE the shell.

Need some ideas on how to get rid this thing without hurting the clam.

is it on the out side of the shell down in the scuts?

It was on the inside of the shell about 1/2 in down. I held the mantle back and shot the anemone with a needle of white vinegar. This morning, it's mantle is extended and all is well.

The clam had been jumping around for the past day or so. Now I know why. There was a small piece of rubble about 5 inches from the clam that had 4 aips on it and I have killed all those too".

be careful using vinegar or anything to kill aptasia near a clam. hopefully you got the little bugger
