Aiptasia on candy coral...

Noticed a couple of heads on my large colony of pinkish white candy coral are turning a darker shade. I took a closer look and there are a couple heads of aiptasia growing out the back side of it.

What should i do?

Is it possible to take a small piece of rubble and place over it? It might move onto the rock instead.

kill the aiptasia before it kills more of the coral. I just had an aiptasia take out part of my neon colony

i use bergia nudabranch when i had a infestation.in my opinion you touch them they spread and if there is one there is 10.bergia take a month to get settled and breed in youre tank but they completly rid youre system of aptsia.then you can trap them and giveem to another reefer in need.

ok, I have gotten rid of those bastards from inside zoa colonys you can get it out of the coral.

1. if you have steady hands try the red sea aptasia X with aplicator. But don't let the solution touch the coral flesh.

2. take the coral out and heat up a small piece of metal and burn the little bastard.

3. take the coral out and put a drop of coral glue on it or in its hole.

bye bye aptasia:)
