First thing. Hello,

I am new to the forums though i have lurked for a few months now. I am a owner of a Established Biocube 14 with 2 clowns and some Green button and brain coral. I recently had a HUGE Aiptasia out break I can count over 30 and a very large few in the back that were hidden from view. I have about 10 pounds of LR in the tank and has been established for about 5 months. I was researching ways of taking care of this but i was thinking due to how much there is that i might need to cook all of my LR to eliminate all of them. I was looking for some advice. I also have to move the tank to a new residents in about a day as well so i dont want to shock anything more than it needs to be with the move or if i should start fresh again... Any advice would be helpful. Thanks guys.

Its very hard to rid of them all because there are more that you cant see and can't get to. Just tore my tank down because them, they multiply fast. I'm starting over myself, bleached all the rocks.

Some people have luck with peppermint shrimp eating their aptasia. It really depends on the individual shrimp though, some wont touch it and some with erradicate it in a few days.

I have been told the peppermint shrimp have to be from Florida and get at least three I bought 5 for my 75 gallon and they got rid of all of them in a matter of weeks

Berghias would be perfect for such a small tank. 2-4 would be more than enough. I breed them and it's unbelievable how much they eat.

Don't these nudis ONLY eat aiptasia though? I'm not very familiar with them at all, but I've heard that once the aiptasia is gone, it's usually a slow decline. (they end up perishing)

One should be plenty IMO.
