Aiptasia?

I think I have an aiptasia problem in my tank. I manually tried to remove it from my coral fragment which I read was a big nono... any ways I need to confirm that's what it is and to figure out how to remove ( not by chemicals preferably). I have a 29 gal bio cube
2 clown fish
2 cardinals
2 chromis
Turbo snails, sun dial snails and turban snail
Blue legged hermits
Banded coral shrimp
Emerald crab
Small frag of hammer coral

I think it might be a sponge. ..

No not at all......sponge comes in many shapes and forms

To me it looks like a tunicate.. but I may be wrong.

I have them too, can they grow larger?

This looks like a pineapple sponge.

It is a pineapple sponge and no they don't get much bigger.

They are perfectly harmless. No need to get rid of them.

Theoretically, if you maintained absolutely pristine water conditions and deprived them of all nutrients, they might disappear over time. But no one really does that (and it might not be compatible with corals or other things you want to keep). So I wouldn't worry too much about it.
