My tank is getting worse by the day with aiptsia I cant get to. Its right at the back of a trigon 350, a corner tank. I was told peppermint shrimps would clear them. So i bought four of these. They dont seem to move fom the front of the tank!!!! And the next step was told to purchase a copperband fish. We have had this only a week and doesnt seem interested in anything!!! Without completely dismantling my tank and injecting each aistasia with elimi-aiptas I cant see any other way to getting it under control. And I dont want to do this obviously. Any ideas?

Try reading the pinned thread at the top of this forum on other ways of getting rid of them. :)

attack personally with boiling water and calk, (latter not compulsory). Inject them, and keep stressing them!

My peppermints wouldn't eat them until I got the alkalinity and calcium in balance. My personal (perhaps crackpot) theory is that there's something about the sting that they don't tolerate if the water is too acidic.
