Aiptasia ?

I found some aiptasia on some new live rock about a week ago. I promptly bought a peppermint shrimp. It took him two days, but he found it and took care of it. I'm convinced that peppermint shrimp are the way to go. And in addition, I think they add a bit of comedy to the tank.

Once you have it in your tank, it is very hard to get rid of, no matter what measures you take. But it can be controlled. Not all forms of peppermint shrimp will eat it. The best and easiest way as mentioned is Joe's Juice.

peppermint shrimp worked for me but i once got some live rock with some larger ones on it and the peppermint shrimp would not tackle them so i injected lemon juice and that worked first time with no problem and hardly no cost!!

We have aiptasia too we bought some frags from thsi guy and a few days later boom 2,3,4 now theres about 10 or 11 we went to the LFS the other day and picked up a peppermint shrimp but we havent seen it since we put it in our tank it hid as soonas we out it in the tank....

I bought a colony of zoos that I later found had 4 aiptasia on it. I was able to remove all of them with tweezers. Haven't seen them since (been 6mos now). Have to make sure you get all of it though. I've read that berghia are good.
