Air bubbles problem

I have tousends of Air bubbles coming in the tank.
Appearantly there is something wrong with the skimmer and the manufacture has to sent me a replacement part. That could take a few days.
I am not concerned about the "visual" aspect of the bubbles for a couple days but do those air bubbles have a "negative" effect in the tank itself?
Could they cause the production of algues or other bad things?

Its just visual. From what I have read over and over again that it wont hurt anything.
