Air Bubbles

Hi so I am new to saltwater setups and have a question, I have a 125 gallon and no room to add a sump tank system so I have 2 hang-on filters and a hang on skimmer. All 3 of these filters return flows are higher than my water level which means I have a lot of water hitting the top of the water surface and creating a lot of air bubbles underneath the water line. Are these air bubbles OK for the fish or are they creating to much gas in the tank?

Definitely you will get a ton of salt creep. Bubbles wont affect the fish, but I have noticed corals dont like them much. Have you considered a canister filter?

Is there a particular reason why the water lvl can't be raised to stop the splashing?
Im using HOB filters on both my tanks & simply have the water lvl just barely below the outflows with no splashing issues. I did place hinged glass tops on them due to the skimmers outlet misting bubbles making a mess on my lighting & salt creep, but the HOB filters didn't cause any issue.

Might be able to DIY yourself some kind of spillway/diffuser on the HOB filter that eases the entry into the tank. I did that will my small freshwater tank to keep it from pushing all my surface floating plants down into the filter intake.

Has to be a way of doing a DIY ATO bracket that raises the top off sw higher. I can't imagine why not. Just be certain to make it from plastic or a non metal source is all, with say a simple plastic set screw holding it in place etc.... so might require tapping a thread & some bending not a major project. The water needs to go higher.................that will fix the issue the best way.
Sometimes you do have to modify things if your not taking the rout that the majority take like a sump etc...
Maybe posting a pic of your sw would help, im a plumber & have to modify things all the time at work its usually pretty easy to do.
