stupid question but just wanted to be sure. i have a tetra whisper 100 air pump on my 75 FO with a single 6 inch air stone. the pump has two air outlets and i want to make both outlets go into the single air stone. i read somewhere on this forum that i actually would need a check valve coming out of each outlet, and then a T to the single line going to the airstone. is this true or could i just use a T going to a single line with a single check valve going to the airstone? sorry if it sounds complicated but its not, just one of those stupid questions lol.

You could use the single check valve after the tee i don't see a problem with it. Why would you want to use an airstone in a saltwater setup? In the display? If in the display will give you alot of salt creep. Best left out. For a skimmer thats more understandable
