is this stuff reef safe. I just bought a bag of cacl from the lfs for 14 bucks a lb. I would really rather just buy this stuff instead its its safe

Take a look at these articles. They say they are reef safe and many people use it. The newer dowflakes have more bromine in them whether or not its bad no one is sure, but bromine is present in natural salt water.

For now I'm going to use it to bump up the cal of IO but will do my daily dosing with B-ionic
