Albany Aquarium is going downhill. It's a complete mess inside, and has been for a year now since the owner changed.
The back still has a good selection of cool freshwater, and a neat plant tank setup like a prop tank. But there is junk all over the place. Old buckets, fish on the ground from jumping out, the wood floor creaks and sounds like it's going to collapse, and the front part of the store with the Saltwater stuff, has nothing but tons of tanks strewn about, and a wall with tanks full of aiptasia, algae, and florescent lit tanks with some candy cane, and bleaching maze brain coral. They have a few chromis, and one yellow tang in a small 15 gal.
I thought it'd get better, but damn it's such a wreck. They have a 7 foot skimmer or something, but you can't even access the saltwater area.
It's so messy, they need to get on the ball =(
