Algae bloom in nano tank

I think your ammonia reading might be a false positive at this point. Keep on truckin' and doing those water changes. 20% weekly is a lot to keep up. Like mcgyvr said, 10% should be sufficient. Keeping things easier and cheaper will make it less of a chore to do the water changes. Nitrates at 5.0 is pretty good if you are planning on keeping some dirtier water-loving corals like the xenia and green star polyps you mentioned.

Keep us updated. I want to see a happy fishy or two in there at some point!

What are your current parameters? Are you doing regular water changes still? What livestock do you have? Are you dosing anything?

We would love to help, but we definitely need more info from your end before we can.

current parameters:
1. KH carbonate hardness (dKH) --- 7
2. pH Acidity --- 8,2
3. NH4 Ammonium (mg/l) --- <0,05
4. NO2 Nitrite (mg/l) --- 0,4
5. NO3 Nitrate (mg/l) --- 15
6. PO4 Phosphate (mg/l) --- < 0,02
7. Density -- 1.023

livestock :
1. 1 -- turbo snail
2. 1 -- percula clownfish

Mcgyvr is going to come in here and say this anyway, but can you take photo/video with the blues turned off?
