algae breakout

Hey Guys, my tank has been running for 4 months now and i am slowly starting to worry about this algae

i did a 3 day black out and nothing!, however it seems to be growing where there is light and flow mostly

feeding 1.5 cubes a day (hikari) fully rinsed in rodi water

i have a cuc crew, they eat it but cant keep up

i just manually removed 75% of it, i will turn my lights off all week

i am planning on doing Algae X, good idea?

Set up a reactor with nitra guard and some external racemosa algae.

are you using NSW for water changes

No I use rodi mixed with instant ocean and I always age the water at least 5 day's
