Algae for display

I want to add some vegetation to my display tank and need to get some suggestions on algaes. Want something that is not too fast growing or invasive; unique, good colour and edible for my herbivores. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Halimeda is my choice for not too fast growing, easy to remove if necessary, and good green color. Not sure on the edible part.
