I have algae growing on my clove polyps and only the clove polyps out of all the corals in my tank. Ive heard of people dipping corals that have algae on them in a peroxide solution? Does this kill the algae and not harm the coral? If so how should Mix the peroxide and water? 50/50? Thanks guys/gals

Now will the peroxide dip kill the algae and make it fall off or will I have to dip and manually remove the algae. Also how long of a dip. 10-15 min?

i have dipped zoanthids with cyano growing on/around there rock and they melted 40%peroxide 60%water(recommended to me by others here) and they melted away

ive had the same problem as you about 2 months ago. i purchased some cloves with green algae on it. i did a 5:1 ratio of tank water/peroxide. I dipped it in there for about 5 to 10 minutes. The GHA started turning grey and I brushed off what I can reach.

The polyps opened up very nice on the 2nd day and now I am getting extreme growth.
